Last month, Kashi Cereal launched a Video Smile Review as a fun way for them to see what consumers think of their cereals using smiles to measure their opinions. I will not reiterate countless times yet again that this brand is a huge favorite of ours. It's one of our staple foods in my house. Just look at my video diary for week 1 challenge for Dial Healthier You Program { which I won by the way }. As soon as I saw the call for review, I went and did it right away! And boy, was I so glad I did!

Going to NC MomBloggers Conference { Afterall! }

Do you believe in luck? I sometimes don't. I just sometimes think that I must have been a good girl and is getting rewarded for it. Like the fact that I'm actually going to NC Mom Bloggers Conference next month. I've been there January of last year for the first Mom Bloggers Retreat where select local mom bloggers like me were invited to take part. I've never been to the beach in Winter but I'd say, being at Ocean Isle Inn last year was one heck of an experience I can never forget! And this year I thought I will miss the 1st major conference altogether but guess I was wrong.

After much wait and anticipation, the winner has finally been chosen! And if you're guessing it's ME {what gave it away?} - You are quite right! Yes! Zensible Mama aka Me - Maricris is the grand prize winner of the challenge! At last is right. No one can imagine how snow made me crave for it this year. Seriously. After an insane hit and miss before and after the holidays, there better be snow in my Winter time or bust! I was on Twitter today and saw a few tweeple friends tweeting about not being able to blog or write a post for their blogs for several days now. O.M.G. A dilemma I can totally relate to! Since I got back from California, the motivation to write has escaped me yet at the same time have this nagging urgency from within to write! An oxymoron to blogging to say the least. So why the NEED {My need} to write a blog post in spite of the lack of inspiration?

We're starting 2011 right! Remember I told you late last year that part of Zensible Mama Gives 2010 was also to teach my six year old daughter the gift of giving? I admit at her age, the tendency to be selfish and naturally possessing the "me, me" syndrome is a very prominent trait and if not curbed early on, I'll be dealing with a selfish and spoiled brat! Blast off!

My 2010 started out with a big bang! And I can't be happier... As I look back, it gives me this sense of gratitude that 2010 had been some sort of a reward from all the tough times we've encountered years before that. Though there was no significant change in our daily struggles in life, it was a reprieve from all that burden somehow...kinda like a sweet treat whose taste will never be forgotten.

2010 has given me a lot to be thankful for:

•  I've met the most wonderful people online in person and became good friends with and some who have made a great impact in my life.
