Golden Ticket to Disney Social Media Moms Conference 2011

When I think about how I snagged a spot in the upcoming Disney Social Media Moms Conference this March, I can't help but think of Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. Me being the lucky Charlie! Yes I am. If you were aware of how the registration process went down that day it opened last month {thank you orange circle of death} and how many applicants were left disgruntled after its' aftermath {see the stream of drama unfolded on Twitter #disneysmmoms - Dec 3}, you'll readily agree with me that I'm indeed lucky as Charlie! Admit it, Disney is Disney. Who doesn't want to go to the happiest place on earth? Getting a spot in this exclusive and coveted conference filled with fun and magic is nothing short of getting the Golden ticket!

What makes it MORE than exciting AND way beyond special this year for me is that, this will be my second year going. Yes lucky indeed. Going to this conference is almost always a dream come true. With the perks and VIP treatment one gets as an attendee and being able to extend the fun to the family is definitely a treat to be had. Seriously. There's no way I can ever afford staying at any of their Deluxe Hotels at any given point of time right now. They're just way too expensive for me. Yet, this is where this conference gets so magical...One reason a lot of us blamelessly clamors to get into this conference.
Last year, we stayed at Polynesian Resort {Hello Lilo!}. This year, we're staying at the Grand Floridian {Ok my heart just skipped a bit at the mere thought of it!}. Grand Floridian. Not in my wildest dream. Yet soon enough, me and my family will be staying in it for 3 days! This famous hotel that lots of celebrities and media people talk so highly of. Dream come true. Thanks Disney!
And just like last year, they are again providing 7-day park hopper tickets so that the family can have fun while mommy are in the conferences. There are also activities during the event catered to where the family and mommy can have fun together. Truly a conference made for the entire family. What more can one ask? Well, maybe there's one: a tour of Disney Dream Ship!
"Best part of this conference? I get to learn a lot of good stuffs! A unique opportunity to grow in Social Media, hear golden nuggets of wisdom from Expert speakers and network with social media influencers such as I am. Truly, this is what makes this conference remarkably exceptional. The magic of Disney and the wonderful people that comes together to fellowship in the happiest place on earth!~ not withstanding what other unhappy people say."
