How My Search for the Perfect Coffee Brewer On-The-Go Came to an End!

On the road with the Presse' / Photo: +Maricris G

It is no secret that I love coffee. My wife loves coffee. And my young daughter, no surprise there, is now following in on the same path. We also love to travel and want our coffee to travel with us. Brewed, hot and ready to go. We love Starbucks too and works great when you don't have time to make your own but most often than not, I'd rather ground and brew our own coffee just the way we want it!

Of course, in the real world, you can't ground and brew your own coffee all the time especially in the early morning hours and you're crunched for time. Unless, of course again, you have those instant coffee-brewing-thingy-ma-jiggy, which we don't like, to speed things up for you. Nothing against it, just not our style. However, I might finally have found the solution...

The Perfect Ground, Brew, Press, Grab and Go Coffee Brewer and Travel Buddy
My wife was asked to test out the Presse by bobble coffee brewer and tumbler in one. I have heard about it before but never really paid much attention to it because I thought the concept was too good to be true. I was also a little skeptical at how well it would work on actual application. But I was also not adverse to trying it out if the opportunity comes my way. Which is what happened. When the product arrived, my wife didn't even have to ask. I volunteered to test it out, pronto!

Since day 1 of using Presse', let's just say, my mornings, my car, all the way to my 45 mins. drive to my office each day is filled with the aroma of freshly ground, freshly brewed cup of hot coffee! - And coffee that stays hot a lot longer! - which means, I get to enjoy my coffee, literally, "hot until the last drop" - I liked that. Thanks to Presse's 3-wall insulation design.

The Coffee Press that's Easy as 1-2-3!
I must admit, I have a French Press and an Aero Press but I'll tell you, the Presse' beats 'em all. First, on ease of use and most of all, functionality. For example, Presse's single filter system is the equivalent of a 3-filter components to that of the French Press which makes the latter cumbersome to use and clean.

Best of all, Presse' turns into a instant tumbler after you've plunged down the press and done brewing. A unique quality that makes it the perfect travel buddy. Ready coffee anywhere and anytime.

As a matter of fact, it is coming with us to our upcoming trip to the mountain - where an endless supply of good, hot coffee will be very much needed.

Considerable observation to note:
If there is anything I would like changed on Presse's particular design, it would be its rubber cover. In high heat as it covers the tumbler, it distinctly emits a rubbery odor which is a little disconcerting. It's also not sturdy. I would like to see Presse' replace the cover with a sturdier and stink-free alternative. Other than that, it's the best coffee press I've come across so far.
