I have been around Smartphones like Nokia for ages that it has become quite easy for me to tell which will work for me and not. As a working mom who is a self-confessed geek like myself, I require a phone that caters to my specific requirements. Think of scheduler, planner, journal etc.- applications that will help organize my hectic life! Nokia E73 Mode seem to possess these qualities and I had the privilege of putting it to the test!

Your Movie Date Night is on Me! - General Mills Cereals Family Flick Night Gift Pack Giveaway
WINNER UPDATE: Congratulations to Julie - number 9 - winner via random.org - Thank you to all who entered!
Yup your movie night is on me! When was the last time you and your family actually went to a movie theater together? If you ask me, it's been ages! What with all the streaming technology so within reach, watching a movie at a movie theater is becoming obsolete to most families. Thanks to Big G though, we're bringing family movie night back! Bring on the popcorn!

Fisher Price New BigFoot the Monster Sweepstakes
Fisher Price recently introduced it's new toy that looks rather more like a character from an anime movie than a scary Sasquatch! I'd say it's uncannily cute. This new toy is BigFoot the Monster. The little beastie is remote-controlled and do rolls and back-flips and stands on it's two feet by just a click of a button. He even talks! What an exciting toy a kid will ever have this Christmas! And guess what you have a chance of winning this guy valued at $90!

Zhu Zhu Pets Pampered Hamster Playdate Fun!
Zhu Zhu Pets brought down my house this past weekend! Yes, brought my house down with loads of fun! Our playdate was a huge success, some of the kids went home crying ~ not because they were harmed ~ they were having so much fun, they didn't want to go home! Their moms literally have to extract them from my home. But all was SO good, we decided to do a Zhu Zhu pets playdate again soon.

ONE CAR CLUB Featured Blogger Tina of Practically Chaotic - Getting by with 1 car!
People usually look at me like I’ve lost my mind when I tell them that our family only has one car. After the blank stare, there’s always a question: Do you and your husband both have a license? Yes, we’re both fully licensed and insured. Are you one of those environmentalist people? No, we’re not. In fact, our last car was a 1993 Suburban that got approximately 12 miles per gallon.

A Walk to Beautiful - A Journey to Healing
I normally don't talk about the movies I've seen or watched but I'd be darn! This is the first time I've ever watched a movie documentary that left me crying from beginning to end to a point that I was uncontrollably sobbing after it ended...Talk about powerful! "A Walk to Beautiful" is a tragic, yet very moving story of a woman's suffering and the effect of a devastating childbirth in a culture and country where girls are forced to adulthood and married off as young as 10 years old...gets pregnant at 12 and become "broken vessels". They become outcasts and ostracized by their own families and abandoned by their husbands...

Mobile Shots: Wonderful World by Louis Armstrong
It always moves me whenever I hear this song "Wonderful World" by Louis Armstrong with Kenny G -one of my favorite musician- doing the music. So as a tribute to this mesmerizing song, I'll attempt to put a visual interpretation to an excerpt of the song using pictures I took! Just the way I see this wonderful world through my eyes...
I see trees of green...

My little girl has developed a love for books very early on and one thing I'm truly glad about. She appreciates a good read from a good book any time of the day! This is why the idea of having her as the main character in an adventure book sounded like the perfect treat! One that she can definitely enjoy reading , if not totally proud of!

Carolina Renaissance Festival - A place where Wenches and Bastards are the stars!
And that's not a lie. Just don't go tellin' the King and Queen and...their royal subjects! Carolina Renaissance Festival is always one of the well-attended events when it comes to town and why not? You can be your altered ego anytime of the day and it's A-OK! It's actually encouraged! Not just that, it's a p.a.r.a.d.i.s.e. for both men and women:
- Men because there are a lot of wenches with overly tight bodice corset and overflowing tatas to feast their eyes on.
- Women because with tight corsets ~ not sure how they can breathe through that ~ they get instant tata-lift! Whoa and lots of 'em there this year too!

Mobile Shots: Halloween in my City and at Carolina Renaissance Festival
Take note of this, I'm usually not one to dress up for Halloween or any costume-wearing occasions {are you kidding me? Those easy-to-rip, low-quality outfits cost so much it hurts me to spend my money on them!} unless of course, someone wrings my arms and make me! Well, this year there was no arm-wringing but would you believe it? I actually dressed up for Halloween, no change that! My entire family of three dressed up this year!!! What made me?
This!
My $10 Hot Diva dress {Yes, $10!}

ONE CAR CLUB Guest Blogger Angela of Pagan Mom Blog: Life with One Car
After I confessed and told the world of my hitchhiking endeavors brought about by having only one car in a two-car world, little did I know that my family was not alone in this, that there were more out there, just like us! One of them is Angela, better known as Pagan Mom Blog, who I finally met in person during the Type A Mom Conference. I didn't know she is in the same boat until that day I tweeted about my story. Now it's her turn to tell her story... read her story and be inspired...
