DIY: Spring-Inspired Garden Pinwheel and Wind Chime Using Upcycled Chick-Fil-A Soup Container

I always love a good challenge, especially when it's a dare on my creativity. I sort of thrive on it. Now, I openly admit that because I have a track record of going beyond the norm when it comes to upcycling certain items. One example is when I turned used fabric sheets into something beautiful - that's what I say anyway since it's my work. You can see this beautiful thing I talk about here. You're welcome.

Now Chick-Fil-A have been coming up with good challenges like the cellphone coop, which I did here. Right now, the challenge is to upcycle their soup container. I know that as soon as I saw the container, my brain went overdrive with ideas. There were simple, straight-forward, easy-to-make ideas I toyed with but I said, "nah"... I want something unique. Something that's appropriate for the upcoming Spring season.

A Very Last-Minute But Adorable Valentine's Day DIY Craft - Or for any other Occasion!

I dunno about you but it seem like our Valentine's day celebration is either cancelled or postponed in my side of town. Thanks to #snOMG! Oh, please I'm not complaining. I love snow days like these as much as I love to craft. You should have seen me rolling off the snow like a happy Polar Bear. But in honor of the (totally postponed) Valentine's day, here is a very last-minute gift/craft idea that you can whip up in a jiffy! I promise!

Though if you're in Charlotte, I can't really promise you wouldn't need to brave the snow-ridden winter wonderland out there to get your supplies or the candies... but go watch the tutorial and have fun anyway!

Watch video directly on our YouTube Channel :

Not too crafty? No problem. Grab your paper towel/toilet paper cardboard core and use them instead. Now talk about creative upcycling! Likey???

Xtreme Recycling: Flower Bouquet and Potpourri from Dryer Sheets

Did you know you can turn your used dryer sheets into a cute work of art? Yes you can and I'm going to show you how! I recently changed fabric softener sheets (aka dryer sheets) brand and though I like both, I prefer the latter due to its ability to retain its scent even after usage. This "inspired" my creativity to recycle the sheets into something appealing and useful. Instead of throwing them away, I turned the used sheets into scented flower bouquet and the extra, into "potpourris" where the bouquet sits. The creation looks cute and smells good. So, don't toss your used dryer sheets yet until you try your hands on this one! Makes for a fun project and great recycling idea too.

You know it! Halloween's right around the bend and for Halloween enthusiasts, massive decorating is on! Are you up for the challenge? I always love a good challenge and decorating is one of my weaknesses. This is where a little DIY and some elbow grease on my own comes into play. I don't mind that. Stunningly attractive decor that costs less or nothing at all? I'm in! Check some of these ideas I came up with. It's my first time doing Halloween decor. Believe it. Let me know what you think!
