I will be honest with you. I was soooo nervous at the thought of doing the Mom Market at Type A Parent Conference last week. When I got the email from Megan (@SweetSadieMarie) telling me I was approved to take part in the Mom Market, I was like "Whaaattt??? Me??? I got in???" I got all excited and scared, in a good way, at the same time... if that was even possible. I've never done the Mom Market before...
I was afraid no one will like my handmade creations - yes, you can tell I was very "confident" about my stuffs at this point. C'mon now, they will be in front of fabulous, fashionable, classy moms! You'd be a little rattled too, if it were you! Well, scared and all, I told myself, since I'm not one to give up, "Maricris, just suck it in and just do it!"
Yes I did. (inject big SIGH here)
Glad I did.
The support I got from fellow moms and awesome women at the conference were overwhelmingly astounding! Love it! And everyone loved my stuff! Seriously. I can't believe I doubted myself or my creations for that matter. I almost didn't want it to end! Now, I can't wait for next year...
