Slave Driver

EF5 damage on a good day

So it seem like my little sassy girl always had a very crooked definition of the word PARENTS which I happen to discover today.

Arguing and debating about cleaning up after her mess is as common as the snot in her nose or mine or the hubby's in this household and just like our snots, she can be very headstrong and will resist complying no matter what threat we throw at her.

"Anak, clean up your mess now or no TV."

"But Mama, this is such a hard thing to do"

"Well, you are good at making a mess, you should be good in cleaning them up too"

"But it is so hard"

"Then don't make a mess, so you don't have anything to clean"

"Mama... this is so sad"

"Anak, it is not. You made the mess. YOU clean it up. Who else do you expect to clean it up?"

" *sniff*...You and Papa"

"Whoaaattt? what did you say?"

" I said... You and Papa"

Can I trade kids with you for a month?

Excuse me I'll go pull my hair out & kill some ants. Drat!

  5. Isn't this always the way? Ella Numera Una just sent me some snaps of her new apt., now that it's all decorated/arranged. Of course, she didn't make her bed before taking the shots, but...some things never change. Get used to it.

  6. I would trade but mine makes messes EVERYWHERE and is still having a problem comprehending why we clean up. You know I am beginning to wonder why I even clean up after a toddler! :) Good luck - here's hoping she'll grow into being a neat freak.

  11. haha..."It's so hard!"

hm...I need to pick up my mess!

but, first I want to say. Thank you for stopping by my place... I also left you a comment on your other blog about speaking (or rather the lack of) Tagalog. (thought: do you live near here? that would be great and then maybe you could teach me some!) I just remember a little.

Thank you also for your kind comments and I'm happy that you enjoyed my artwork...I am blessed that I have always loved to draw and on my own, the drawings drawn entirely with a person's name, I did first for my brother's bday gift in 1985... and have had others order ever since then. I am always so thankful that others find them interesting, so I get orders continuously... I just ventured into blogging and etsy in June... most of my orders right now are locally, through shows and from past customers, word of mouth, etc.

sorry this comment has become a mini-post! I was going to reply to you through email. but when I clicked on your name to send one, it showed as that elusive "noreply", which I learned the early, the hard way after sending some when I began blogging...that those get sent out to who knows where...haha

so, I will be back, and if you would like to contact me via email...mgbotelho21@gmail.com Otherwise, I hope you come back and please leave a comment if you do, so that I know that you were there... and of course, also cuz I love to find new comments :o)

    Blessings & Aloha!

  13. I know some grown adults who make messes and don't clean up after themselves! Hang in there - hopefully it's just a stage that she'll grow out of.

Thank you for stopping by my blog - I hope you'll stop by again sometime!
