Carowinds To Add World's Tallest Giga Coaster and An Epic Makeover of the Park

Thursday, last week, we had a front row seat at Carowinds BIG, no make that ginormous, secret reveal and more! In the centerpiece of the theme park's 50 Million dollar investments for 2015 is the construction of the world's tallest and fastest Gigacoaster ride - Fury 325! As Carowinds Marketing Director John Taylor said, "If you thought Intimidator was big, think again!"

I agree. The video simulation during the announcement was indeed a good indication that this new coaster ride is one for the brave soul and not for the faint of heart. With speed reaching 95 miles per hour, drop zone of 325 feet high with tight twists and turns and several 111 foot tall camel back hills, even men will be screaming like terrified little girls!

For those who are terrified of Fury, the park has other offerings next season to cater to everyone else. A new water slide in Boomerang bay for the water-loving patrons, re-vamped menu at the new Harmony Hall, new Front entrance plaza, larger ticket and season pass processing area, new parking entrance and toll booth with added parking spaces, and an expanded live show entertainment.

Up Close and Personal with The Moms' Night Out Casts and Crew in Hollywood

As of this writing, the movie Moms' Night Out has all been played and shown in theaters nationwide. It was set to coincide with the celebration of the reknown National Moms Nite Out and of course, Mother's day. Well, that's because this movie is all about moms! Sorry dads!

Ironically, I have to take a bit of an MNO from my INSANE schedule myself  - hello packing and moving West to East coast! - just so I can sit my overworked self down and finally write this article. I spent 2 fabulously exciting and glamorous days in Hollywood meeting, mingling, partying and talking with the forces and stars behind this funny movie. It is a tad, tad late I know, but a good story never goes bad. So, here it goes, just as fresh as the day it happened and filled with tons of exciting gossip fodder only for you!

Gaston's Tavern: The Place to Drink and be Merry

According to Timothy Staggs, Chairman of Walt Disney Parks and Resorts, Worldwide, "Gaston has become a very popular character at the New Fantasyland. Everyone wanted to have their pictures taken next to its statue". A very unexpected reception from the norm where loyal fans of the iconic tale would usually favor the beloved pair; Belle and the Beast. Uncannily, this simply indicates that Gaston has made its mark, or most appropriately, found its way into the hearts of many! The Gaston Tavern is an unmistakable evidence of this observation.

New Fantasyland Get Ready for Zensible Mama!

Just when I thought my cute b*tt can sit on my couch, LONG ENOUGH to actually write EXCITING, ADVENTUROUS, DEATH-DEFYING (well, riding a plane and NASCAR can be, can it not?) travel stories during the past weeks, here I go, riding a jetplane, AGAIN (I'm NOT complaining), to head to the sunny, magical world of DisneyWorld! Can I get a woot woot and a LUCKY DAWK at the same time?!
