North Carolina is a melting pot of different culinary style and flavor. To Truly experience the unique taste of the Carolinas, one needs to partake in a culinary feast to sample each flavor from the different regions of the state. Now you don't need to travel across the state just to achieve this. Carowinds gathered the flavors together and put them in one location so you don't have to go too far at their Taste of The Carolinas Food Festival.

We had the pleasure of sampling the different flavors of the featured seven Carolina region, and here's our choices, how much tokens they're worth and put a star next to the items that we highly recommend.

Get a Taste before it's all gone
Taste of the Carolinas ends on May 1 and is available on Saturdays and Sundays from 11am to 2 hours before park closes. For beer and wine lovers, tastings are also available by schedule. Though there's a beer and wine booth available for immediate purchase at the fest. The booths are located next to Harmony Hall.
