Oscar Nominations 2013: Walt Disney Studios Take the Lead with 17 Nominations! #OscarNoms


The nominations are out! And Walt Disney Studios have a good reason to celebrate. They garnered a total of 17 Oscar nominations this year. Lincoln on the top lead as the most nominated film of the year! As a Walt Disney Film enthusiast myself, I'm pretty elated about this news. Check the compete list of nominations each movie got!

LINCOLN (DreamWorks/Touchstone)

· Performance By An Actor In A Leading Role – Daniel Day-Lewis
· Performance By An Actress In A Supporting Role – Sally Field
· Performance By An Actor In A Supporting Role – Tommy Lee Jones
· Directing – Steven Spielberg
· Adapted Screenplay – Tony Kushner
· Music (Original Score) – John Williams
· Cinematography – Janusz Kaminski
· Costume Design – Joanna Johnston
· Film Editing – Michael Kahn
· Production Design – Rick Carter, Jim Erickson

The 85th Academy Awards will air live on ABC on Sunday, February 24. Until then cross your fingers, toes, legs, and eyes with me!
