During Christmas, my family and I lit 26 candles to remember and pay tribute to the 26 lives lost and their families at Sandy Hook.
Afterthought:
When I was gathering the candles, counting and laying them together on the floor next to the fireplace and piling up, I can't help thinking and feeling upset. "This is a lot of candles...lots of lives wasted." Then the eerie thing happened, I started arranging the candles to form the number 26 and to my utter surprise, it perfectly formed the number 26! I knew I had to take pictures...
This tribute post is a part of the #365Photoproject. A photo project in my attempt to capture life, the world around it, and its essence each day through photos. After all, a picture is worth a thousand words. And it lasts longer.
