KalsØ Earth Nexus Shoes Review and Giveaway

Chillin' with my Nexus shoes on a fine Fall day!

I love shoes just like any typical woman in the world but my high-heel-wearing days seem to have passed. I'm more inclined to wear flat, comfortable shoes that fit my feet's need. I have high arches requiring shoes with proper arch support which makes buying or wearing regular shoes a bit daunting at times. Though I try to wear high-heeled shoes to keep up with the fashionistas whenever I go to blogging and Social Media conferences and love how it looked on me, my feet usually don't wait long enough to let me know it's "done" for the day even before the day has started! What a stinker! So, flats it is.

Now for years I have my eyes on this brand of shoes that I saw on a health and wellness magazine that we used to subscribe to. This particular brand featured an intriguing concept that's fairly unique: negative heels and seem to promise "relief" on "needy" arches like mine. The only hindrance? Let's just say it was beyond my budget. So, I focused my eyes somewhere and opted for alternative options and forgot about THAT brand.

But then Alas! This brand found it's way back to me by way of the queen of Mamavation, Ms. Bookieboo through a review opportunity! I was beyond ecstatic! Forgotten dream coming true? Perhaps! But whatever it is, I welcomed KalsØ Earth Shoes with both arms wide open. I opted for The Nexus which fits my preference for a casual, everyday walking shoes with the promise of anatomic arch support. As soon as my shoes arrived, you guessed it, I immediately wore them to pick up my daughter at school! I was stylin' and the admiring look I got from other moms was enough to say a lot about my shoes!

My Experience:

• Arch Support - It worked great on my arches and never once had my feet cramped like they do after a few minutes of walking. 
• Negative Heels - It takes a lot of getting used to but I've noticed that I don't get the usual pain on my back that I normally get if I was wearing regular sandals or sneakers.
• Design - I love it's simplicity and functionality of the velcroed straps. No complex laces is always a winner on my book.

In summary, The Nexus did not disappoint. I love it! Though the approximate retail price of $125 may be a bit pricey, I'd say it's worth it. I believe in the cliche' "you get what you pay for!" and with this shoes, you certainly do!
