Fall Fun - How to Create Flower Bouquets from Fall Leaves

Fall leaves? I got plenty of them in my front and back yard. Do you? Not sure what to do with them like me, besides watch them fall on the ground until they end up into a big pile of mess? Well, fret no more. Here's a fun and creative project I discovered through haha.nu that I tried my hands on and guaranteed to give you tons of fun creating! Not to say, it's pretty easy to make and highly attractive as Fall decor.

My first creation. Not bad for a first attempt.

In this project, I used whatever available leaf I have in my yard, but making sure I use one that's large enough to create the same effect.

Materials needed:
Take 3 same colored leafs for outer petals. One leaf with different color for inner core. 3 extra leafs with same color as inner core to trim your flower. A clear tape. (I used tape rather than the thread suggested because it is easier to work with and does not cut through the leafs).

Let's start creating.

And the final result.

What do you think? Isn't it fun?! Go grab your kids, family and friends and start making use of those wonderful Fall leaves while they're nice and pretty! And let me know how yours went. Enjoy!

  2. Beautiful! I love this idea. We have a bunch of red leaves out front that would make gorgeous flowers.

  4. How awesome! I would never have thought of making something like this out of leaves! We just moved into a new place and unfortunately do not have any leaves just laying in my backyard. :-(
