Six years ago...I was in a hospital bed fighting for my life. There was enough blood lost and with my anemia, it was enough to threaten the very essence of my survival. But it was worth it... bringing a bundle of joy to this world and holding her close to my weakening body at that very first moment was all worth it. So in the midst of pain, weakness, and several bloody IV needles that shot through my veins and scarred my arms forever as doctors and nurses scurried to save me by pumping me with blood transfusions, I can only think of one thing: how blessed I was to have this sleeping little angel cradled in the nook of my beaten arm...
Six years... How fast time flies. I looked at my arms and touched the scars as she ran towards me to give me a hug and a kiss. It's all worth it...
My Spring Baby. Born in the season of hope and new beginnings...What a joy to behold! The Easter Bunny didn't show up at her birthday this year but there's a promise from that enchanted Bearyland to bring lots of laughters and cheers!
Six years...seem so long ago yet at a fleeting moment, it all seem like it was just yesterday... it was also the day I was given a new lease in life...
Not all of us are blessed to be a mother, nor blessed to live and see their babies grow. May each and everyone of you enjoyed a blessed Easter! - Count your blessings not your sufferings...
Happy Birthday Princess!
