After 12 years, Winterfest finally made its magical winter wonderland way back to Carowinds to offer fun and enchantment to each and everyone. An attraction that have been much-anticipated by those who experienced it in 2005, like me - its first and last year. Now the great thing about this year's Winterfest is that it's bigger, it's brighter and it offers more fun options for the family - including an Artisan Alley featuring unique handmade items from local and small business owner designers!
Fun and shopping rolled into one
What more can you ask for? Fun at the park and shopping! These unique items are a great buy even if you're not looking for something special for holiday gifts. Some of them are just worth having. The Artisans will be there until December 30th so, check them out and show them love and support by purchasing an item or two!

An insider look at the Artisan Alley.
I was privileged to be a part of the event as a vendor and are truly proud of those who were there with me that braved the cold and the inclement weather, simply so we can bring our unique items and share our love for creating them not just to those who love handmade creations but to everyone there as well.

Vendors vary by each weekend but here are some that you may encounter on your visit.
Wood Carver in action
Wild Wood Chainsaw Carvings.
If you're into wood sculptures, this unique artisan carves the wood and brings it to life right before your eyes. Like a looking glass, you'll have the opportunity to watch him inside an enclosed workshop as he does what he's best at. An entertainment all by itself.
The Woodmill Shop
Leather galore. This shop offers a wide array of items from keychains to bracelets all made with leather trimmings and material. A great gift for every age or yourself.
Shuckasoapo
Soap haven. All fragrance, shape and sizes imaginable. These unique soaps are great stuffing stuffers or simply must-have to make you squeaky clean and smelling good.
Silverhammer
Something unique. Something extraordinary. Artsy and simply different. This shop got 'em. Make sure to stop by and check their creations.
SteamZen
Steampunk-inspired, geeky, fandom, quirky, hand stamped designs and more. This is my shop and it's a collection of different handmade creations where jewelries and accessories are customized according to your preference. My week at the park is done but you can always check my creations online.
Toushea Body Boutique
Body care products made with care and love. Great for those who are particular about the products they use on their body and skin. These items are made in small batches to ensure you're getting quality products. Make sure to check this shop out and snag a soap, lotion or even a lip balm for your health-conscious friend or yourself.

Artisan Alley is located in the area by Scrambler ride and the Carowinds Theater. You won't miss it on your way to County Fair. Make sure to take a pause and give these Artisan some love.
