Snoopy's Starlight Spectacular at Carowind's Go Live! in Charlotte

If you are from Charlotte North Carolina or near the border of SC and NC, you would pretty much know Carowind's. The only park in this side of town that operates business in one location but situated on both sides of NC and SC. You would probably also know by now that they have a new attraction for 2011 that is making evenings spectacular! at the park! Yes, thanks to Snoopy's Starlight Spectacular!

This attraction officially debuted on Saturday, May 28. I had the privilege to be invited and preview this attraction before it opened to the public on May 26th during the park's Media day and was likewise witnessed by other select local bloggers in the community and media people including our family and friends. Carowind's is confident that this will boost their customers park experience specifically in the main park where the light show is exclusively designated. Waterparks were excluded by design since that side of the park closes earlier.

If you're a Disney fan like me, I'd say, don't expect much out of this attraction. It is nothing like Disney's infamous Electrical Parade but rather a little more traditional. Think Christmas! If you look at all the twinkling lights, it sort of gives you a tinge of sense like you are seeing a small version of McAdenville's in December, yet definitely with a different flair all on it's own! Just wear a special 3D glasses available for purchase inside the park during the show and I guarantee you, you'll be seeing stars in no time.

Watch the video above for a little sneak peek inside this new attraction and be star-struck like us!
