Siesta Saturday - Quest for a Black dress

I'm glad that Christmas and New Year has passed... screeeeccchhhh...what New Year? Oh but no! my New Year is not over yet! Yes wonderful friends, {I'm a freak of nature} I celebrate two New Years...American and Chinese {but I'm not Chinese - go figure}... AND this years' Chinese New Year carries a very significant reason to look my best {why?- suspense dearie!} hence, my {desperate} quest for that perfect little black dress...

Your mission, should you accept: is to get your sleuthing skills going and help me find the "it" dress...give me your perfect 10 suggestions and links to see them...and to reward you for your Sherlock Holmes effort, I'll reward you with free linkage to my blog with Mr. Linky's help {if he isn't too crazy}. Does that sound like a good deal?

Then bring it on!

Psst! The lucky detective will get a surprise gift!

Good luck on the little black dress. I'm afraid I am of no help - my wardrobe consists of the perfect little black sweatpants. Actually brown - hides the dirt.

  7. I don't think I can help you with the quest for a black dress, but I hope you find a stunning dress soon! I celebrate many new years, including the Chinese New Year and occasionally the Russian New Year, but at the moment I'm busy celebrating the Greek New Year over and over :-)

  14. I wonder what people came up with for you. The Audrey Hepburn look is so incredibly classy but then black just kinda has class built in, doesn't it? I can't wait to hear the results and see them too!

  19. I'm not sure if you're looking for long or short but I posted a couple I think are cute. If you're going long stick with something classic like in the photo on your blog. She's a classic lady and that style never goes out of fashion! Can't wait to see what you choose.

  24. Oh, I wish I had ten dresses to show you, but I don't. I'm hoping to find a magical one of my own. I found quite a few pretty ones at Express a few months ago (lots of feathers, sequins, etc.) but I just checked and they don't seem to carry very many now. Bummer. Good luck though!

  25. Shoot. I just left a comment and it gave me a server error. Oh well.

I saw several cool LBD at Express a few months ago (lots of feathers, sequins, etc.) but I just checked and they don't seem to have many in stock now. Bummer. Good luck on your quest, though!
