Strawberry Shortcake Two New DVD Movies Review and Giveaway

I was given copies of Strawberry Shortcake new DVD Movies that came out August 31st produced by Twentienth Century Fox Home Entertainment and American Greetings for a  Zensible Review: The Glimmerberry Ball Movie and the Berrywood Here we come.

And with movies like these, having an expert on kids' movies watching it with me, made the reviews easy to wrap up. Who is this expert? None other than my 6 year old daughter! She immediately pointed out The Glimmerberry Ball Movie {Winter-themed Movie} as her favorite and was most interesting and captivating between the two, which we both agreed on. Why?

• It's on CGI {computer-generated imagery} which is the most modern version of technologically animated format of any movie which has a very high appeal to most viewers including me. It gives an imagery more life to it than a regular animated film would.
• The movie is a movie. It's a full length movie with one plot and one dedicated setting. Unlike the Berrywood Here I come, which contained two separate stories akin to an individual episode on TV which bored my daughter and I just a bit. It's also done with regular imagery animation which was like watching regular TV.

The cons: 

Being both a movie, you wouldn't find the little extras you would usually find on "a DVD movie", like "the making", "the voices behind", you know the drill. The only frill it comes with was printables that is ONLY accessible via a computer and one music video, Read along storybook on the Glimmerberry Ball Movie DVD.

In summary:
Both movies contained life lessons and skills that was interpreted on a level appropriate to young kids like respect, unselfishness, giving, forgiving, friendship and so much more and presented in simple scenarios where young minds can easily understand and process the essence of each story accordingly. These movies got the kid-approved thumbs up!
