Media Preview of Mummies of the World - November 10 at Discovery Place
Members of the media are invited to unwrap the mysteries of the highly-anticipated exhibition Mummies of the World at an exclusive media preview. The exhibition, which makes it Southern U.S. premiere at Discovery Place on Friday, November 11, 2011, includes rare specimens such as a 6,420-year-old child mummy from Peru (the Detmold Child), one of the oldest mummies ever discovered, dating 3,000 years before King Tut.
